You might've heard about recent legislation from Bernie Sanders proposing a Long Covid moonshot. I've been digging into the details, and here's an honest assessment of it based on feedback I've been seeing from Long Covid advocates:

I've also decided to repurpose my old Substack newsletter into a new publication called The Sentinel-Intelligence. I'll be sharing some of my posts there on a regular basis. It's a less doomy option for those of you who want to share my work with your doom-averse friends and family. I made this decision after a couple of comments from readers.

It feels strange heading through August with no courses to plan and no students emailing me. On the upside, I have more time to write longer pieces with more depth.
